Job summary

Washington Regional Medical System is seeking a dedicated full-time Advanced Practice Provider or Physician Assistant to join the Trauma Surgery team in Fayetteville, AR. This hospital-based nocturnist role focuses on trauma consultations, comprehensive assessments, and treatment planning in a Level II trauma center environment.

The ideal candidate will have acute care NP or PA training, Arkansas licensure, CPR, and national certification. Epic EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner with Acute Care certification or Physician Assistant program.
• Arkansas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and CPR required.
• National certification required.

Responsibilities

• Surgical consultations and responding to ED for trauma alerts.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Assist in diagnosing and managing medical and surgical conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and treatments.
• Ensure accurate documentation and complete discharge summaries.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and hospital policies.
