Washington Regional's Trauma Surgery is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider or Physician Assistant for a full-time, hospital-based nocturnist position.

Qualifications

• Education: graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner with Acute Care certification or Physician Assistant program.
• Licensure: Arkansas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and CPR required; national certification required.
• Experience: minimum 3 years in trauma surgery or critical care setting preferred.
• EMR: EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Surgical consultations and responding to ED for trauma alerts.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Assist in diagnosing and managing medical and surgical conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and treatments.
• Ensure accurate documentation and complete discharge summaries.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
