Optum is looking for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in Laguna Hills, CA. The clinicians we seek practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume, and take the time needed to address each patient’s needs.

Position details: direct patient care including examinations, evaluations, diagnoses and treatment; patient volume 18–20 daily; see patients from newborns to geriatrics; Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• New grads welcome to apply.
• Unrestricted CA license.
• CA DEA certificate required prior to start date.
• Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant school.
• EMR proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care including examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment.
• Patient load of 18–20 patients per day on average.
• See patients across all ages from newborns to geriatrics.
• Clinicians typically work Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 - $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
