UnitedHealth Group's Optum CA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Mission Hills team. You will provide and manage direct patient care, performing exams, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments in a collaborative environment.

This role requires an unrestricted CA license and CA DEA certificate; new graduates welcome. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a robust benefits package, CME reimbursement, and comprehensive EMR tools.

Qualifications

• CA licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required.
• Unrestricted CA license and CA DEA certificate required prior to start date.
• Certificate of completion from an accredited NP or PA program.

Responsibilities

• Handle a patient volume of 18-20 per day.
• See patients from newborns to geriatric, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500–$164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonuses and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
