Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Metabolic Weight Loss program on a full-time basis. You will provide obesity medicine care to patients 12 and older, collaborating with a physician team in a longitudinal, evidence-based model.

You will work within an academic health system with strong growth prospects, flexible, hybrid scheduling options for clinics, and access to Epic EMR and specialty resources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current NP or PA certification and MA licensure eligibility.
• Experience in obesity medicine, endocrinology, or metabolic care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide obesity medicine care to adolescents (12+) and adults.
• Collaborate with three physicians, a fellow, and two APPs in a team-based setting.
• Deliver evidence-based, longitudinal care with flexible scheduling.
• Manage in-person and remote clinics and contribute to program growth.

$119,912.00 - $152,131.20

(based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week).

Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Compensation for part-time or reduced schedules will be prorated based on scheduled weekly hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

UMass Memorial Health, the leading health and wellness system in Central Massachusetts, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Metabolic Weight Loss team at UMass Memorial Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, supportive team providing comprehensive obesity care to adolescent and adult patients ages 12 and older.

This is a mixed adolescent and adult practice, and we are specifically seeking an APP with clinical experience caring for both adolescents (age 12+) and adults affected by obesity. The APP will work alongside three physicians, an obesity medicine fellow, and two other APPs in a team-based environment focused on evidence-based, compassionate, and longitudinal care.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
