Job summary

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is actively seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide mobile wound care services in patients' homes and SNFs throughout the San Jose, CA area. You will travel locally to see patients, with an emphasis on thorough care and clear communication with the care teams.

Must be licensed as a CA NP or PA and CPR certified. This is not a remote position; you will drive to patient locations and coordinate care with patients and families in person.

Qualifications

• Active CA NP or PA license required.

• Valid driver’s license and liability auto insurance; local travel required.

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient.
• Perform wound care procedures as part of the plan of care.
• Define and document patient diagnoses.
• Ensure patient satisfaction and provide education and management.
• Debridement of wounds as appropriate during visits.
• Apply topical wound care products and other wound management therapies.
• Notate findings and treatment course in the patient chart, including follow-up notes.

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to perform mobile advanced wound care services for our patients. You will travel locally within your designated region to see our patients in their homes or SNFs. This position is looking for candidates living in San Jose, CA and be willing to drive to see patients in this area in their homes. The territory for this role will service patients in throughout San Jose, CA area. Must be licensed as an NP or PA in CA.

This is not a remote position. Must be willing and able to drive to patient homes to provide wound care.

No experience is needed. We provide extensive training, 24/7 support, offer competitive compensation.

Responsibilities:

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient

• Assure all patients are completely satisfied
• Patient education and management
• Debridement of wounds by various methods completed safely during the patient visit
• Application of topical wound care and other wound management products
