Job summary

West Coast Wound is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to perform mobile, in-home wound care across the Denver area. You will travel to patients in homes or SNFs, delivering comprehensive wound care with extensive training and 24/7 support.

Must hold CO NP/PA licensure and CPR certification, with excellent communication and customer service. This is a full-time/part-time/1099 contract role requiring local travel and driving to patient sites.

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to perform mobile advanced wound care services for our patients. You will travel locally within your designated region to see our patients in their homes or SNFs.

This position is looking for candidates living in Denver, CO and be willing to drive to see patients in this area in their homes. The territory for this role will service patients in throughout Denver area.

Must be licensed as an NP or PA in CO.

This is not a remote position. Must be willing and able to drive to patient homes to provide wound care.

No experience is needed. We provide extensive training, 24/7 support, offer competitive compensation.

Responsibilities:

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient
• Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care
• Define and document patient diagnoses
• Assure all patients are completely satisfied
• Patient education and management
• Debridement of wounds by various methods completed safely during the patient visit
• Application of topical wound care and other wound management products
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-up notes

Qualifications:

• Current state license as an NP or PA
• CPR Certified
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and minimum state required liability auto insurance; local travel is required
