UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its adult Critical Care team. You will perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions with a high degree of autonomy, and participate in education and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner program (ACNP/AGACNP preferred).
• Massachusetts NP license or PA license is required.
• Board Certification by ANCC/AANP (NP) or NCCPA (PA).
• Acute Care/Critical Care clinical experience required.
• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnose/manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Deliver expert care with high autonomy.
• Engage in education, quality improvement and leadership initiatives.
• Support patient outcomes and team development.
• Develop care plans with physicians and patients; modify plans as needed.

Hiring Range: $119,912.00 - $170,414.40 (based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week). Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Qualifications

For Nurse Practitioners

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (preferably ACNP/AGACNP)
• Current Massachusetts NP license
• Board Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
• Acute Care/Critical Care clinical experience required
• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration

For Physician Assistants

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Massachusetts license, issued by the Physician Assistant Board
• Current certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Acute Care/Critical Care clinical experience required
• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration
