Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Active unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in state of practice.
• Active applicable Controlled Substance Registration/License/Certification in state of practice.
• Active DEA license required.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently within your scope.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical exams, order labs, and manage treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and administer injections, wound care, and minor procedures.
• Counsel patients on medical issues and preventative care.
• Document all clinical encounters and interventions in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and security to ensure effective care delivery.
