Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join a collaborative cardiovascular team. You will provide balanced inpatient and outpatient cardiology care, working with electrophysiology, heart failure, and acute cardiac care specialists.

The APP will manage outpatient evaluations and hospital-based care across CCU, ICU, Stage, telemetry, and the Clinical Decision Unit, fostering high-quality patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in Idaho.
• Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho; Board of Pharmacy and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient evaluation and management of cardiology patients.

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center - Boise and Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) are seeking a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our growing cardiovascular team. This unique position offers the opportunity to develop a balanced inpatient and outpatient practice while working alongside a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary cardiovascular care team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cardiovascular medicine and a patient-centered approach to care across the continuum, including general cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure, and acute cardiac care.

In this role, the APP will provide care in both the clinic and hospital settings, supporting patients throughout their cardiovascular journey. Responsibilities include outpatient evaluation and management of cardiology patients, as well as inpatient care across the Cardiac Care Units, ICU, Step-Down, Telemetry, and Clinical Decision Unit.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho; Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• A strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group. In providing this support, you will obtain Idaho medical licensure to maintain and strengthen the Health System's general internal program across all communities we serve.
• Previous advance practice provider experience in cardiac disease management or chronic care management preferred.
