Job summary

Freeman Health System in Missouri seeks a Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery NP/PA to work with the surgical team on preoperative evaluations, postoperative management, patient education, and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.

The role requires Missouri NP or PA licensure, or a Missouri RN license with compact-state eligibility, and a graduate from an AMA-accredited PA program. This is a full-time position with rotating clinical schedule and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Missouri NP licensure required for practice.
• Missouri RN license or compact-state RN license required.
• PA license in Missouri required.
• Graduate of AMA-accredited PA program.

Requirements

Current Missouri Advanced Practice Nurse licensure as a Nurse Practitioner according to MO State Board of Nursing.

Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.

OR

Current Missouri Physician Assistant license.

Graduate of Physician assistant program accredited by the committee on Allied Health, education and accreditation of the American Medical Association.
