Job summary

The Eisenhower Desert Cardiology Center in Rancho Mirage, California, is seeking multiple full-time Advanced Practice Providers (Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners) to join our cardiology team on the Eisenhower Medical Center campus.

Rounding at the hospital is required. The ideal candidate will perform exams, evaluate data, order tests, educate patients, and collaborate with our MD and team to direct patient care. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience preferred in cardiology; new graduates welcome.
• Eligible for California licensure as PA or NP; current DEA license and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform exams and evaluate clinical data.
• Consult with MD and team; order appropriate tests.
• Provide patient education and accurate documentation.
• Help direct management of patient care; collaborate with physicians.

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Needed

Eisenhower Desert Cardiology Center is the largest single specialty cardiology group in the Coachella Valley seeing over 150,000 patient visits per year. Located on the Eisenhower Medical Center campus in Rancho Mirage, California, this practice is comprised of 21 Cardiologists with 7 Advanced Practice Providers. We are seeking to recruit multiple full-time Advanced Practice Providers. We prefer the candidate to have experience in Cardiology and comfortable working independently with immediate physician consultation when necessary. The ideal practitioner will perform exams, evaluate clinical data, consult with our MD and team, order appropriate tests, provide accurate and useful diagnostic information, patient education, documentation, and help direct management of the patient's care.
