Job summary

Jupiter Med seeks a licensed APRN/PA to deliver direct patient care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. You will perform procedures and prescribe medications under protocol, educate patients, and contribute to growth initiatives at Jupiter Med.

The role involves assisting in the OR as a first assist and supporting physicians as part of an active practice. Expect diverse clinical duties and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

  • State licensure in Florida as APRN/RN or Physician Assistant.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
  • Demonstrates high quality case management abilities and clinical competency.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Position Summary

The APRN/PA works in collaboration with physicians and other patient care team members, in an active practice to deliver health care services to patients and families.

Provides direct patient care.

Performs procedures and prescribes medications under protocol.

Provides patient education and counseling.

Participates in the marketing, evaluation and growth at JMC.

The position will support the physician plus assisiting as first assist in the OR.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated. Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.
