Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Candidates may have new grads or experience in women's health.
• Clinical experience in a clinic setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participate directly in patient management to the extent allowed by license and credentials.
• Perform a complete physical examination and record findings; collaborate with physicians.
• Review and order labs, x-rays and other procedures with supervising physician as indicated.
• Counsel patients and families on health promotion, prognosis, and management options.
• Maintain medical records in the standard problem-oriented format.
• Triage patient calls and provide consultation; ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in professional development and maintain affiliations.
