Banner University Medical Center Tucson is actively interviewing Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our Division of Neonatology. This full-time position supports a Level IV Neonatology team with responsibilities including attending high-risk deliveries and performing advanced procedures, while collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years neonatal experience preferred; NEW GRADs welcome to apply.
• AZ license, or ability to obtain by start date
• Current BLS and NRP
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances. Waived for new graduates

• Attend high‑risk deliveries and support neonatal patients.
• Teach/assist/perform procedures including intubations, chest tubes, arterial lines, PICCs, ventilator management.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in patient care.

Enjoy a Flexible Schedule in Beautiful Tucson! Banner University Medicine Tucson is actively interviewing Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our Division of Neonatology at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson.

. This position is involved in supporting a Level IV Neonatology team of clinical faculty covering up to 20 patients on the resident-led team, and up to 16 patients on the NNP led team. Duties include attending all high-risk deliveries, teach/assist/perform procedures including intubations, chest tubes, arterial lines, PICCs, ventilator management, and participate as an NRP instructor. This position requires working closely with Physicians and other clinicians in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Work Schedule & Description

• Full-time (1.0 FTE)
• Flexible shifts - team self-schedules.
• 8 & 13 hour shifts available Monday-Sunday with day and night coverage
• CoverageCharting assistance!
• Attendings write daily notes
• Teaching and research opportunities
• Multiple residents, attendings, and other NNPs on each shift for comprehensive support
