Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved formal education program for nurse practitioners/physician assistants.
• Twelve hours CE or in-service hours required annually.
• Licensed in Louisiana as an Advanced Practice Nurse or PA; board certification/eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Obtain history and perform physical exams of new and follow-up clinic patients.
• Discuss treatment options and plan of care with patients.
• Respond to patient phone calls and education needs.
• Assist in pre-op processes and discharge instructions.
