Job summary

Wareham CTC (an Acadia Healthcare Comprehensive Treatment Centers program) seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver advanced nursing care in an outpatient MAT OTP setting. You’ll conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications where allowed, guided by the Medical Director and Nurse Supervisor.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, adherence to regulatory standards, and a commitment to recovery-oriented care for adults in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing nurse practitioner preferred.
• Experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
• Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA).
• No history of alcohol or drug misuse for 3 years before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides initial and annual history and physical evaluation and assesses eligibility for treatment.
• Orders laboratory studies and follows up on results and referrals.
• Monitors treatment plans for high risk patients.
• Prescribes MAT as allowed by state regulation.
• Collaborates with Medical Director to plan and implement care.
• Reports significant patient issues and adverse events.
• Communicates with health care team members.
• Ensures compliance with laws and clinic policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
