BAS HealthCare is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in Otolaryngology for their Portland, OR facility. This outpatient position covers 4 days a week in a Pediatric ENT clinic, with responsibilities including patient care for common conditions such as tonsil evaluations and wound assessments.

Qualifications include an active Oregon medical license, board certification or eligibility, and BLS certification. Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay are offered, along with malpractice coverage. The target start date is late August or September.

Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Otolaryngology

Job Details

• Outpatient, clinic-only position covering approximately 4 days per week in a Pediatric ENT and Pediatric Urology post‑op setting
• Pediatric ENT clinic coverage approximately 2.5‑3 days per week; Pediatric Urology post‑op visit coverage approximately 0.5‑1 day per week
• Shift hours are 8:30am‑5:00pm with admin time from 8:00‑8:30am and 4:30‑5:00pm
• Patient care visits 8:30am‑12:00pm and 1:00‑4:30pm, with a 1‑hour lunch break
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applicable after 9 hours per day
• Approximately 14 patient encounters per shift
• Most common office diagnoses include evaluation of tonsils, adenoids, and otitis media
• Responsibilities include wound assessment and suture removal
• Flexible endoscopy experience preferred
• Experience with nasal cautery and foreign body removal preferred
• Urology experience is a plus, as providers may be asked to assist with post‑op urology visits if comfortable
• Active Oregon medical license required; licensure in OR only accepted
• Board certified or truly board eligible required
• Active DEA required; BLS certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days; target start date late August or September1
• Interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams with the physician leader, typically available Tuesdays between 1:00‑2:00pm PST
• No call required
