Job summary

MercyOne Genesis in Silvis, IL is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Surgery/OR team. This full-time role includes pre- and post-operative clinic visits and assisting surgeons in the operating room. The position follows a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no after-hours call and no weekend work.

Qualified candidates hold a Masters or Doctorate in nursing or PA program and have licensure in Illinois. US work eligibility and prescriptive authority are required.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program or Physician Assistant program.
• Experienced Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) preferred but will consider other relative experience.
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Illinois.
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the field of practice.
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt).

Responsibilities

• Assist a group of established Surgeons in surgery.
