Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a part-time Ready for Surgery role. You will assess patients in clinic and contracted facilities, taking medical histories and conducting physical exams to develop plans of care within your scope.

You will document in the EMR, close encounters within time guidelines, and support the care team to meet Meaningful Use objectives.

Qualifications

• The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant provides care in clinic and contracted facilities, taking medical histories and performing physical exams within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant accesses patients in clinic and other outside facilities that are contracted with SMG/SRH and completes medical histories and physical examinations to appropriately provide care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care and within own scope of practice. Accurately chart history and care plan in electronic medical record (EMR), closing encounters within the time guidelines set forth by Self Medical Group and Self Regional Healthcare Administration. Completing all EMR generated tasks and assisting care team in achieving Meaningful Use measures. Performs all other assigned duties per SMG Physicians, Practice Manager, and Self Medical Group Administration.
