Sutter Medical Group (SMG) in Roseville, CA is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (PA/NP) to join a collaborative Orthopedic Surgery team. The role includes clinic and operating room duties, with a 50/50 distribution between clinic and OR assistance, and opportunities for inpatient rounding.

Ideal candidates have a PA or NP license and at least one year of clinical experience, with EM, inpatient, or surgical backgrounds preferred.

• Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a full-time Advance Practice Clinician (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join a collaborative Orthopedic Surgery team serving the Roseville market. This role supports clinic and operating room functions and is designed for clinicians who value schedule variety, broad orthopedic exposure, and team-based practice.

Estimated Work Distribution

• 50% Clinic
• 50% Operating Room (OR assistance)

Call & Weekend Coverage

• ER Call: Not required for APCs
• Weekend Coverage: Optional paid hourly opportunities for inpatient support, compensated above base salary

Clinical Volume & Scope

• Clinic Volume:
  • Full day: ~18-20 patients
  • Half day: ~10-12 patients
• Patient Population: Broad age range from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Specialty Scope: General Orthopedics including sports medicine, joint care, hand surgery, and trauma exposure related to physician call responsibilities
• Technology: Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR); robotic-assisted surgery planned for future implementation
