Job summary

Mercy Clinic Oncology in Springfield, MO invites an Oncology Advanced Practitioner to join a 10 physicians, 11 advanced practitioners team dedicated to quality patient care.

This full-time role offers Mon-Fri days (10 or 8 hour shifts), shared weekend/evening on-call, and opportunity to see own patients after training (about 15 per day). Infusion coverage and Epic EMR are key duties in a supportive multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Full-time Oncology Advanced Practitioner role.
• Will see own patients after training, averaging ~15 patients per day.
• Weekend/Evening on-call rotated among APPs.
• Epic EMR is used across the system.

Responsibilities

• See own patients after training, averaging about 15 per day.
• Rotate infusion reaction coverage and stay until last infusion is completed.
• Collaborate with oncologists and the primary supervisor, Dr. Balasundaram.

• Primary collaborator for role is Dr. Chitra Balasundaram but will collaborate with all oncologists.
