This position provides 24/7 inpatient coverage across multiple pediatric surgical service lines and works closely with attending surgeons, fellows, residents, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.
The Acute Care Surgical NP manages patients throughout the continuum of hospitalization, including pre-operative evaluation, post-operative management, acute clinical assessment, coordination of care, patient and family education, discharge planning, and consultation services.
Minimum 1-2 years of pediatric acute care, critical care, emergency medicine, or surgical experience preferred
New graduates with significant pediatric acute care clinical experience may be considered
Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant - NP
Scope for subspecialty role will not exceed the scope of the collaborating or supervising MD
