Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a FULL TIME NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT to join the inpatient team. You will provide inpatient care, treatment, and education under physician supervision, following Baptist Inpatient Medicine Nurse Practitioner Protocols.

Expect 16–20 patients per day with no on-call schedule, using the Epic EHR. Requires Master’s degree, Florida APRN/PA license, BLS/ACLS, and hospital medicine/ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Hospital Medicine or Critical Care/ICU.
• Certified and licensed APRN/PA.
• Current Florida APRN or Physician Assistant license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification, or ability to obtain.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care, treatment, and education under supervising physician per Baptist Inpatient Medicine Nurse Practitioner Protocols.
• Work with hospital medicine team to manage 16‑20 patients per day and 40 patient-facing hours per week.
• Utilize Epic EHR and participate in CME for ongoing professional growth.

What You Will Need
