Job summary

Upper Great Lakes Family Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Family Practice) to provide patient care at Ontonagon and Iron River locations. This Advanced Practice Provider will work within a Federally Qualified Health Center delivering comprehensive primary care in a Health Professional Shortage Area.

Eligible for a federal loan repayment program, with signing bonus and/or relocation potential.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or eligible for license in the State of Michigan.
• DEA registration required.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care at Ontonagon and Iron River locations as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Support patients in a Family Practice setting and engage in preventive care.
• Maintain DEA license and BLS certification; participate in the clinic's credentialing process.

Summary

Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking aNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care at our Ontonagon and Iron River locations. Our clinics are designated as Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) that qualify for federal loan repayment program. Competitive compensation and benefits with signing bonus and/or relocation potential. Must be licensed or eligible for license in the State of Michigan. DEA required.

• Candidate Type: Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)
• Paid malpractice with 100% tail insurance covered through the Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA)
• $2,500 CME annually based on full-time employment status
