Job summary

Esse Health, the St. Louis area’s largest independent physician practice, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for its Washington, MO office.

This outpatient, 1:1 patient care role offers a flexible full/part-time schedule with regular hours, no nights or weekends, and a focus on preventive care and chronic disease management. You will collaborate with physicians to develop care plans, document in NextGen, and participate in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing or Physician Assistant-Master’s Degree.
• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Missouri (or eligibility).
• Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility).
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative team and develop a 1:1 relationship with patients and clinical staff members.
• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients.
• Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physician partner.
• Emphasize preventive care, wellness, and patient education.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen).
• Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team.
• Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives.

Join Our Team Esse Health is currently seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for our Phoenix Family Medicine office located in Washington, MO.

Opportunity

• Full-time or part-time schedule is available! The office is open to hearing what type of schedule you are looking for.
• Within regular business hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
• Outpatient focused clinical practice
• Benefit eligibility dependent upon hours worked
