Job summary

Sollis Health in Beverly Hills is seeking an Advanced Care Provider (NP/PA) for part-time coverage (16 hours/week, 10a-6p) with rotating holidays and weekends. You will deliver concierge emergency medical care to adult and pediatric patients in clinics under physician oversight.

Responsibilities include urgent care evaluations, procedures (IV access, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, POC testing, EKGs), triage, and telemedicine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; graduate of an accredited NP/PA program.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license to practice in California.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Preferred 2–3 years of NP/PA experience in emergency/urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations and formulate diagnosis and treatment plans for urgent and emergent care.
• Perform procedures including IV access, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, POC testing, and EKGs.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and technicians.
• Triage patient needs and determine in-center, virtual, or home care.
• Conduct video Telemedicine consults when appropriate.
• Document in AthenaHealth EHR and ensure policy adherence.

• Contribute to operational projects as needed.

Job description

In the role of an Advanced Care Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) you will provide concierge emergency medical care to Sollis Health patients in our clinics with the supervision/oversight of an attending Physician. This is a pivotal role as part of a growing organization providing seamless care to both adult and pediatric patients for cases that would usually be treated in a traditional emergency room.

Beverly Hills - Part Time-10a-6p - 16 hours/week. Rotating holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations and formulate a differential diagnosis and treatment plan for urgent and emergent care within the scope of emergency medicine, as requested.
• Perform medical procedures that include obtaining IV access (including administration of fluids and medications), splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, performing POC testing, and performing EKGs.
• Formulate a differential diagnosis and treatment plan to occur in the patient's home or other setting outside of a medical clinic setting for urgent and emergent care within the scope of emergency medicine.
• Triage incoming patients needs, access to their concerns and determine the right course of action, in center, virtual or at home care.
• Perform video Telemedicine consults when appropriate.
• Work closely with a team of Physicians, nurses, and technicians to discuss your assessment.
• Assess and treat Covid-related cases which includes obtaining clinical samples to test for the virus, performing point of care testing, obtaining blood for antibody blood tests, providing general symptom management and recommendations.
• Document clinical evaluation and treatment in the electronic health record, AthenaHealth.
• Work closely with the Medical Director and other clinical team members to ensure all policies are adhered to and that you deliver quality care in an innovative setting.
• Coordinate additional care with our After Care and house calls teams or with one of our Medical Partners.
• Make patients and family members comfortable, patiently and professionally answering any questions they have and using patient-centered empathetic communication at all times.
• Coordinate additional care with our After Care and house calls teams or with one of our Medical Partners.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related operational projects as needed.
• Perform related duties as requested.

Experience

We believe extraordinary people come from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally, we would expect that you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program, required.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant state license and ability to practice in California State
• Preferred 2-3 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in emergency departments and/or urgent care centers
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Range: $93-103/hour

This is the anticipated rate/range Sollis Health reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position in Southern California. Actual pay is dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, location, education, etc.
