Job summary

Hydration Room is expanding its virtual care team and seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide remote telehealth services for CA and TX. This full-time position offers $55/hour with comprehensive benefits and a stable schedule, leveraging video visits to deliver high-quality care.

You’ll conduct medical clearances, triage patients via our telemedicine platform, educate patients on wellness plans, and coordinate with onsite staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP license in CA and TX.
• 1+ year NP experience in CA.
• CA NP 103/104 certification preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficient with EMRs, scheduling tools, and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Quiet, distraction-free home workspace with reliable internet.
• Team shifts may change based on scheduling and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Annual Medical Clearance evaluations via telemedicine to assess treatment eligibility.
• Remotely triage and treat patients through the telemedicine platform.
• Provide education and wellness-focused treatment plans.
• Support clinical coordination for onsite patient visits as needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Participate in the telehealth provider schedule, including weekend rotation.
• Complete clinical documentation and manage e-prescriptions and lab orders.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct Annual Medical Clearance evaluations (Good Faith Exams) via video/audio to assess patient eligibility for treatment
• Remotely triage and treat patients through our secure telemedicine platform
• Provide personalized education and recommend wellness-focused treatment plans
• Support clinical coordination for onsite patient visits as needed
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes
• Participate in the telehealth provider schedule, including [weekend rotation], to support our 7-day-a-week model
• Complete clinical documentation, sign off on patient charts, and manage e-prescriptions and lab orders

The Schedule

• Full-time, [40 hours/week, e.g., 5 x 8-hour shifts] (+ 1-hour lunch) within 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM PST. This position operates on Pacific time only; we’re unable to accommodate other time zones.

What You Need

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in both California and Texas (required)
• 1+ years of Nurse Practitioner (NP) experience in California
• CA NP 103/104 certification (preferred, not required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in EMRs, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Quiet, professional, distraction-free home work environment with reliable internet
• Team members must be available to work any of our scheduled shifts. Specific shift assignments will be determined based on scheduling and business needs and are subject to change.
