Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for NP licensure.
• Current California Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHF) with furnishing number (must obtain within 1 year).
• DEA license for positions requiring scheduled medications (must obtain within 1 year).
• Medicare Billing Number (NPI) must obtain within 6 months.
• Credentialing through Medical Staff Services must be completed.
• Complete delegation requirements for the assigned division.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical assessment, treatment and health education for children and families.
• Offer psychosocial support, referrals, and care coordination in clinical, school, and in-home settings.
• Act as a primary care provider under physician supervision; lead, educate and coordinate care.
• Engage in teaching, research and liaise with healthcare teams.
• Some positions require being on call according to a predetermined schedule.
