The Nurse Practitioner (NP) of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is responsible for providing a full range of medical services for patients under the supervision of the Site Medical Director and other site Physicians. They work within established policy and procedure, as well as state guidelines, to deliver high-quality care to patients seeking MAT for substance abuse disorders. The NP also ensures accurate documentation of services and communicates effectively with the Medical Director and site director to maintain coverage of medical services.

Full Time, M-Friday 8 hour shifts (0800-1600)You should have strong experience assessing and treating patients with substance use disorders, including opioid use disorder and co-occurring medical or psychiatric conditions. You should be skilled in conducting histories and physical examinations, developing and reviewing treatment plans, prescribing and monitoring medication-assisted treatment, and responding to urgent medical needs. Strong clinical judgment, accurate SOAP-format documentation, patient education, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration are essential.Candidates should also be comfortable working independently, interacting with patients with patience and tact, and recognizing when additional consultation or referral is needed.
