UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro, NC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Hospital Medicine program. This inpatient role emphasizes high-quality, team-based care in a busy hospital setting.

We offer a competitive compensation package with incentives, CME allowance, retirement plan and malpractice coverage, plus a 7-on/7-off schedule (7am–7pm) and EPIC as our EMR. New grads with inpatient ED/ICU experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

UNC Health Wayne is looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing Hospital Medicine program in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This position involves delivering high-quality and team-based inpatient services. Other Information

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
• No prior experience required.
• Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
