Job summary

SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team in Mt. Vernon in a full-time position.

This clinic-based role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no night call, relocation benefits, and a signing bonus. The candidate should have an accredited NP or PA program and Board Certification; Illinois APN/PA license is preferred, with preference for those with diabetes educator experience.

• Completion of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current Board Certification.
• Illinois APN or PA license preferred.
• Endocrinology experience preferred; new grads considered with diabetic educator experience.

SSM Health - Illinoisseeks aNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Endocrinology team in Mt. Vernon. The successful candidate will join our Medical Group and will be affiliated with SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospitalin Mt. Vernon, Illinois, in a full-time position.

This is an employed position with SSM Health - Good Samaritan Hospital, a premier hospital system located in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, where easy access is available to St. Louis, Chicago, Evansville, Indianapolis, Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, and Nashville.

Highlights of the opportunity are:

Candidates must have/be:

• Successful completion of an accredited NP or PA school
• Hold current Board Certification.
• An experienced endocrinology provider is preferred; however, a new graduate will not be excluded, with preference given to those with previous Diabetic Educator experience.
• Active Illinois APN or PA license is preferred.
