TEEMA Group is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for an onsite employee health clinic in Reno, NV. The role focuses on primary care, preventive health, wellness, and same-day care in a collaborative outpatient setting.
The NP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat employees, provide immunizations, health screenings, and education, and coordinate referrals as needed, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EHR.
We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an onsite employee health clinic. This position is ideal for an NP who enjoys practicing in a collaborative outpatient environment with a strong focus on primary care, preventive health, wellness, and same-day care.
The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat employees for a variety of acute and chronic health concerns while promoting overall health and wellness.
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine services in an onsite employee clinic setting.
Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and health screenings.
Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions within scope of practice.
Develop and implement individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
Provide same-day care for employees presenting with acute health concerns.
Order, perform, and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing.
Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines.
Provide preventive care, routine health screenings, immunizations, and wellness education.
Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and management of chronic conditions.
Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with specialists and other healthcare providers when appropriate.
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, clinical protocols, and established standards of care.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner/APRN license in the state of practice.
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification through an accredited certifying organization.
Current BLS certification.
Current prescriptive authority and DEA registration, if required for the position.
Previous experience in family medicine, primary care, urgent care, occupational health, or an employee health clinic strongly preferred.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and patient education skills.
