Job summary

Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive primary care in an outpatient clinic.

The NP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions, emphasizing preventive care and health promotion, with collaboration among physicians, nurses, and other clinicians. The ideal candidate will hold a DNP or equivalent, be licensed to practice in Ohio, and have experience in family or primary care settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Master’s or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
• Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license/certification in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, Internal Medicine, or another appropriate primary care specialty.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinical services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients in outpatient care.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications as allowed by state law.

The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic medical conditions while emphasizing preventive care and health promotion. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications in accordance with state law, providing patient education, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is committed to clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, and improving patient health outcomes.

Requirements

• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.


• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, patient education, communication, and critical thinking skills.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.


• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.


• Must be authorized to work in the United States. U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) are encouraged to apply.
