Job summary

Mercy Care in Atlanta is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care and Mobile Health teams. You will provide primary care under established protocols for adults and seniors, with potential pediatric duties, in a community-centered setting.

The role supports underserved populations, requires an NLN-approved MSN NP program or equivalent with NP experience and Georgia RN licensure, and offers Day-1 benefits, daily pay options, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an NLN-approved MSN Nurse Practitioner program or a certified NP program with three years of NP experience.
• Georgia RN license required.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• Experience working with diverse and underserved populations preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and treat patients using health promotion, disease prevention and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services under established medical protocols.
• Diagnose and treat patients using evidence-based practices.
• Prescribe medications in consultation with the Medical Director as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in community health fairs and outreach events 3-4 times a year.
• Deliver age-appropriate care, primarily for adults (18-65) and geriatric patients (65+), with potential to serve pediatric patients.

Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our:

• Primary Care Clinics: Mercy Care Decatur Street & Mercy Care Chamblee
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency strongly preferred for the Chamblee Clinic
• Mobile Health Team
• Street Medicine Team

What You Will Do
