NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Neurosurgery Services team in Queens. This full-time, on-site role supports neurosurgical care across Downtown Flushing and Forest Hills, working with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, MSN as a Nurse Practitioner, NY NP and RN licenses, ANCC/AANP certification, BLS and ACLS, and at least 2 years of NP/RN Neurosurgery experience; bilingual abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required and MSN as Nurse Practitioner.
• New York State NP license.
• New York State RN license.
• ANCC or AANP certification as Nurse Practitioner.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years NP/RN Neurosurgery experience.
• Bilingual in Korean, Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in neurosurgery with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver care within the neurosurgery service according to Practice Protocols and NP practice agreements.
• Collaborate with the Division of Nursing and service department policies.
• Travel between multiple practice locations including Downtown Flushing and Forest Hills.

Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery Services - Queens Medical Group

Bring your expertise to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Medical Group and play a vital role in delivering exceptional neurosurgical care. In this position, the Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive patient care in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team. Responsibilities include the delivery of care within the neurosurgery service in accordance with established Practice Protocols, Nurse Practitioner Clinical Practice Agreements, and the policies and procedures of the Division of Nursing, service department, and NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Medical Group.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position. The role requires travel between multiple practice locations, including Downtown Flushing and Forest Hills.

Preferred Criteria:

• Minimum of 2 years’ NP/RN experience in Neurosurgery.
• Bilingual in Korean, Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese.

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master’s Degree as aNursePractitioner.
• Current New York State License asNursePractitioner.
• Current New York State RN license.
• Certification as aNursePractitionerfrom a New York State approved accrediting body – AmericanNurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Association ofNursePractitioners (AANP).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
