BAS Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with neurosurgery experience to provide locum coverage in Wausau, WI.

The assignment is 2–3 weeks per month and includes inpatient rounding at the affiliated hospital and clinic coverage for the Spine and Neurosciences Neurosurgery Clinic on the hospital's 3rd floor. Clinic schedules range from 8–10 patients daily, with five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience in neurosurgery required.
• BLS certification required.
• Credentialing within ~90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rounding at the affiliated hospital.
• Cover clinic at the Spine and Neurosciences Neurosurgery Clinic.
• Clinic 8–10 patients per day; schedule flexible.
• Flexible weekly schedule: five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days.

Job Details:

• Seeking a NP or PA with experience in Neurosurgery to provide coverage 2-3 weeks per month
• Coverage weeks may vary depending upon current employed NP and PA scheduling needs
• Provide inpatient rounding at the affiliated hospital with variable patient volumes
• Provide clinic coverage with scheduled patients at the Spine and Neurosciences Neurosurgery Clinic located on the 3rd floor of the hospital
• Clinic scheduled patients can range from 8-10 daily
• Clinic scheduling is flexible with either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days weekly
• Patient encounters per shift are varied
• BLS certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
• Nearest airport is Central WI Airport (CWA)
• Lodging available at the Hilton Garden Inn - Wausau
