Job summary

The Banner Health Neurology and Critical Care team in Phoenix is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (ACNP/NP) to join our Neurocritical Care unit. You will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians, and participate in educational activities for staff and trainees.

Night shift availability requires Arizona NP licensure, board certification (AANP/ANCC), DEA, BLS and ACLS. The role supports a busy workload of 12–15 patients daily and opportunities for professional growth within

• Must have a current or ability to obtain an unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona.
• Board certification (AANP/ANCC) for NPs.
• DEA license, BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferably at least two years of Neurocritical Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurocritical care to patients in collaboration with neurocritical care physicians and the healthcare team.
• Manage a daily patient load of 12–15, offering critical care support to patients and families.
• Participate in the education and supervision of nursing staff, residents and medical students.

The Department of Neurology at Banner - University Medicine Phoenix is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), to join our dynamic Neurocritical Care team. This exceptional opportunity is ideal for APPs who are passionate about providing patient-centered care, contributing to the education of clinical skills, and promoting collaboration among healthcare professionals. Minimum Requirements:

• - Must have a current or ability to obtain, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arizona.
• - Must have certification from a recognized board (AANP, ANCC for NPs).
• - DEA license, BLS, ACLS certification
• - Preferably at least two years of experience or a strong clinical background in Neurocritical Care
• - This position is currently for night shifts only

Essential Functions:
