An independent contractor role for Nurse Practitioners with Dentrust Optimized Care Solutions, providing health readiness services to military service members primarily on weekends. Responsibilities include conducting health assessments, documenting results, and collaborating with supervising physicians as required. Ideal candidates will hold an active NP license, have CPR/BLS certification, and experience in a fast-paced environment, with availability to travel.
Qualifications
Supervising Physician may be required depending on the state requirement.
Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health is preferred.
Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.
Responsibilities
Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record.
Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately.
Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Basic computer knowledge
Adaptable to fast-paced environments
Education
Active NP license in the state
