Job summary

Cell Staff is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care to inmates in client facilities across Texas. This is a full-time, contract position with 8-hour shifts, Mon-Fri, and no weekend requirements.

The role involves delivering comprehensive NP duties and working within correctional healthcare teams. Weekly pay and travel stipends are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution.
• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the State in which the position is located, in good standing.
• 1+ year of relevant Nurse Practitioner (NP) experience.

• Providing primary care to inmates
• Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
• Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
• Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
• Recording patient medical histories
• Operating and maintaining medical equipment
