Job summary

Qualifications

• APR N license in the state of employment.
• Maintain annual licensure and credentialing requirements for mid-level provider credentials.
• Active CPR certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies within the facility.
• Identify inmate/patient health problems and prescribe treatment under physician direction.
• Provide education to inmate/patient, healthcare staff, and correctional staff.
• Document all healthcare contacts.
• Adhere to safety and infection control practices; follow security policies.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
