Qualifications

• Completion of a graduate-level nurse practitioner program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
• No experience required.
• Certification by ANCC or AANP is required.
• Licensed RN by the Texas Board of Nursing (TBON).
• Licensed APRN in a NP clinical area by TBON.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced practice health care services and documents care.
• Collaborates with colleagues and clinical director.
• Supervises assigned support staff and participates in quality assurance.
• Orders and coordinates workup of patients for procedures.
• Follows up with patients after discharge; executes physician orders.
