Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN license(s) in state(s) of practice.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• If practicing in Illinois, active Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire.
• Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice prior to or within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans based on patient age and condition.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and prescribe interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; refer when needed.
• Document accurately in electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management.
• Maintain standards of productivity and quality metrics.
• Onboard and educate new team members.
