Job summary

Texas Health Physicians Group is excited to announce a full-time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner opening in southwest Fort Worth, TX. The NP will assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&Ps and follow-up visits, and will document using the EMR system.

The ideal candidate will have Texas licensure as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, ACLS certification, and at least 2 years of NP or RN ICU/CVICU experience. This role reports to the supervising physician and Medical Director.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.
• Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.
• The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P’s & follow-up visits.
• Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses.
• Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions
• Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients
• Document using EMR system.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.

Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Assist Hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P’s & follow-up visits.
• Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses.
• Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions
• Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients
• Document using EMR system.

IF YOU:

• Enjoy working Day Shift 7a-7p/ 7 days on 7 days off
