Memorial Health System in Biloxi seeks a Nurse Practitioner for Hospitalists night shift. This full-time role runs 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, Monday through Thursday, at the Memorial Biloxi location.

The Clinical Nurse Practitioner will assess and treat patients in the hospital and clinic office, following scope of practice and Medical Staff bylaws; requires strong clinical judgment and communication. Education: Master's degree in nursing with NP focus; Licensure: MS NP license; Experience: 2 years RN;

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing with NP focus required.
• Current Mississippi NP license required.
• Two years of clinical RN experience required.

Job Description

This position works Monday through Thursday, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am at the Memorial Biloxi location.

The Clinical Nurse Practitioner renders medical care to patients within the clinical setting of the hospital and clinic office and is response for assessment of the patients and provides care for each identified patient. The Nurse Practitioner provides patient care services as allowed by scope of practice and Memorial Medical Staff bylaws.

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Successful completion of a Master's Degree in nursing program with NP focus.

Licensure: Current license to practice as a professional Nurse Practitioner in Mississippi. Current NP Certification.

Experience: Two (2) years of clinical experience as a staff Registered Nurse (RN)
