Charleston Oncology in Charleston, SC is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing hematology/oncology program with a focus on bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy. Travel to Mount Pleasant is required; this is a full-time position on the inpatient and outpatient teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as an APP in hematology/oncology with direct BMT and/or CAR-T management.
• Active NP or PA license and national board certification.
• Inpatient and outpatient transplant experience preferred.
• Willingness to practice at more than one Charleston-area location.

Responsibilities

• Manage malignant hematology patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Evaluate and manage benign hematology (anemia, cytopenias, thrombosis and anticoagulation, bleeding disorders).
• Provide ongoing care for an established panel of general solid tumor patients.
• Support pre-transplant workup, post-transplant and post-CAR-T follow-up, and long-term survivorship.
• Monitor and manage transplant-related complications, immunosuppression, infection prophylaxis, and transfusion needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and fellow APPs on individualized treatment plans.
• Manage EPIC in-basket and keep patients and referring teams informed.
