The ideal candidate will possess a New York State NP license, have at least 5 years of acute inpatient experience, and preferably experience in GI or family practice. The annual base salary range is between $85,000 and $105,000, with potential bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State is required.
• Must have completed a graduate program from an accredited NP school.
• At least 5 years of acute inpatient experience is needed.
• Preferably 3+ years of experience as an NP in gastroenterology or family practice.
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Partner with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.

Our client, a respected healthcare provider in Brooklyn, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join their dynamic gastroenterology team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver patient-centered care across both inpatient and outpatient settings as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary group.

The annual base salary range is $85,000 to $105,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with gastroenterology physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Conduct specialized diagnostic tests and assessments for patients presenting with gastrointestinal concerns
• Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress and evolving needs
• Deliver patient education, including disease prevention and self-care strategies, to empower those you serve
• Maintain meticulous medical records using charting systems and documentation best practices
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to drive quality outcomes and efficient care delivery
• Ensure medical documentation of patient encounters, treatments, interventions, and results is consistently accurate and timely

Job Requirements
