Job summary

Shore Staffing, Inc. seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to perform medical evaluations for youth in a secure juvenile facility in Allegany County, MD. This part-time position offers two 4-hour clinic days weekly with competitive compensation.

The successful candidate must hold an active Maryland NP license and national certification, with strong clinical assessment and documentation skills, and be able to work independently while collaborating with facility staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current national NP certification.
• Experience with adolescents or in correctional/behavioral health settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments for youth.
• Review medical histories and evaluate current health concerns.
• Perform physical examinations and provide clinical recommendations.
• Identify medical needs and recommend treatment or follow-up care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with facility medical staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
