Job summary

Banner University Medical Group in Marana, AZ is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Community Clinic Team. You will serve a diverse patient population in a rewarding primary care setting, collaborating with physicians in a team-based model.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (no weekends). Start with 6–8 patients per session, gradually increasing to 10–12, with rotating call duties around 1 in 10 weeks.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
• Current Arizona license (or ability to obtain).
• DEA license for controlled substances.
• CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in a primary care or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Clinical management of patients and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education.
• Consult with physicians and clinicians in a team-based approach.
• Manage same-day/acute care and start with 6-8 patients per session, increasing to 10-12.

Work in an established, growing primary care practice where you'll have time to truly connect with patients.

As part of our collaborative team, you'll be involved in clinical management of patients, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, patient education, and consultation with physicians and clinicians in a team-based approach to care.

Position Details

• Call Duties: Rotating schedule approximately 1 in 10 weeks
