Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to provide patient care within the scope of practice in our healthcare network.

The role involves performing exams, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and educating patients and families; there may be a specialty area depending on client needs. Employment is contract full-time with on-site healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required
• Certification as per client request and or state regulations if applicable
• One year experience as an NP preferred
• Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services within scope of license
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings
• Prescribe medications and instruct patients and family members on medical conditions and treatment
• May have an area of specialty practice
